THE BB4P SYSTEM FOR YOUTH TRANSFORMATION TRAINS YOUTH IN PEACE MAKING SKILLS AND BASKETBALL FUNDAMENTALS WHILE PROVIDING THEM A WIN\/LOST STIPEND ON EACH TRAINING COMPETITION DAY. <\/strong><\/p>\n

BB4P<\/strong> is designed to promote<\/strong> Community Coexistence, Education, Security (EWS), Job Creation and Basketball in<\/strong> an<\/strong> atmosphere<\/strong> of<\/strong> PEACE<\/strong>. BB4P<\/strong> encourages individuals to assume<\/strong> responsibility<\/strong> for their behavior<\/strong> rather than blaming others.<\/p>\n

The BB4P<\/strong> PEACE ZONE(basketball-court)<\/strong> NETWORK<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.) daily<\/strong> serve<\/strong> as acceptable<\/strong> grassroots<\/strong> meeting<\/strong> place<\/strong> for<\/strong> YOUTH<\/strong> and Community Residents to come togetherin PEACE<\/strong>, regardless the \u2018issues\u2019 dividing or troubling their Community i.e. educational levels, age, religion, tribe, political party, unemployed, etc.<\/p>\n

2.) daily<\/strong> discusses<\/strong> the meaning of PEACE (CMM Training) <\/strong>for meaningful development and progress to take place; producing many Local<\/strong> Grassroots<\/strong> PEACE<\/strong> AMBASSADORS<\/strong> who are mediating in Conflicts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

3.) daily<\/strong> Basketball<\/strong> Training<\/strong> sessions<\/strong> (other Activities) and Saturday<\/strong> Training<\/strong> Competitions<\/strong> are encouraging excellence (Win<\/strong>–or<\/strong>–Play<\/strong>–Well<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

4.) can<\/strong> be expanded<\/strong>\/developed<\/strong> into<\/strong> acceptable Grassroots<\/strong> Community<\/strong> Centres<\/strong> to cater for other Community<\/strong> needs<\/strong> and can be the place<\/strong> where \u201cSon\u2019s<\/strong>–of<\/strong>–the<\/strong> soil<\/strong>\u201d can give<\/strong>–back<\/strong> to their Local Communities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Each PEACE<\/strong> ZONE<\/strong> is established to provide opportunities for 100<\/strong> or more Grassroots<\/strong> Community<\/strong> based YOUTH;<\/strong> monthly<\/strong> inter<\/strong>–PEACE<\/strong> ZONE<\/strong> Competitions<\/strong> provide \u2018win<\/strong>\/loss<\/strong> Stipends\u2019<\/strong> for approximately<\/strong> 1000<\/strong> YOUTH<\/strong> and support staff in each State<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

BASKETBALL <\/strong>is Nigeria\u2019s<\/strong> number<\/strong> two<\/strong> team<\/strong> Sport<\/strong>, the reason why the BB4P<\/strong> Network<\/strong> has been successful in establishing 36<\/strong> PEACE<\/strong> ZONES<\/strong> and 100<\/strong> PEACE<\/strong> CLUBS<\/strong> in Secondary Schools in 21<\/strong> Local<\/strong> Government<\/strong> Areas<\/strong> of 10<\/strong> Cities<\/strong>, in the FCT, Kaduna, Kano, Plateau, Delta, Rivers and Lagos States<\/strong>. There are many success<\/strong> stories;<\/strong> many<\/strong> of<\/strong> which<\/strong> are<\/strong> yet<\/strong> to<\/strong> be<\/strong> told<\/strong>, providing opportunities for Youth Development<\/strong> in an atmosphere PEACE.<\/strong><\/p>\n

COST<\/strong> can vary from two-hundred thousand naira (N200,000) to two million naira plus (+) based on the existing situations and expectations <\/strong>to be accomplished in the proposed Communities, LGA\/LGC or STATES<\/strong> to be serviced.<\/p>\n

BB4P<\/strong> \u2018has-no-doubt\u2019 that the BB4P<\/strong> System<\/strong> For<\/strong> Youth<\/strong> Transformation<\/strong> will help Individuals, National\/International Organizations and Government<\/strong> achieve<\/strong> the goals<\/strong> of the National<\/strong> Youth<\/strong> Policy<\/strong> and<\/strong> Strategic<\/strong> Plan<\/strong> of<\/strong> Action<\/strong> for Nigeria<\/strong> and beyond.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
